What Is the Group Booking Policy on Ethiopian Airlines?

Travelers seeking to fly together with their companions can take an Ethiopian Airlines flight. Since such travel includes several passengers, the airline follows certain conditions to keep the reservation properly structured. The Ethiopian Airlines group booking policy makes the reservation process smoother by letting passengers know every requirement of flying together. Also, taking a quick look at them beforehand can avoid confusion during the booking or later on. The important points related to these policies are mentioned below.

• The airline allows more than 9 companions to fly in a group to the same destination, and they have to fly through one or more flight segments under the same reservation.
• A single reservation can include up to 99 flyers. But seats can be pre-reserved for only 50 passengers at a time. If the itinerary has all 99 members, two PNRs have to be created for issuing the seats.
• Names need to be submitted 60 days before departure. If a traveler cannot provide the name by that date, the name may be submitted 30 days before takeoff.
• A group itinerary may also be cancelled by the traveler when the option is mentioned in the airline's offer.
• The reservation may no longer qualify as group travel when the cancellation reduces the party size to 9 flyers or fewer.
